Tony Lander
President, LB Transportation Group
Since beginning the business that has become LB Transportation Group in February 1976, Tony Lander has been on the front line of the transportation and warehousing industry ensuring his customers' needs are met and exceeded in today's global economy.
Tony's career in the transportation and warehousing business began long before creating LB Transportation Group. Working for such prestigious companies as Evans Products, Pacific Air Freight, Thrifty Car Rental, and Airborne Freight, Tony has seen first hand the ever-changing role of innovation as well as the vast expansion of the transportation sector. A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Tony has traveled extensively throughout Europe, South America, and the United States.
As President and CEO of LB Transportation Group, Tony is especially proud of the recent move and expansion of the business into its new facility along Interstate 75.
Incorporating the transportation and warehousing divisions into one functioning group marked a major milestone for the business. This move allowed for improved products and services for his customers as well as a faster response time for their needs. The new location at 966 Bridgeview South in Saginaw combines the agility of the trucking fleet with the powerful organization of the new warehouse.
Believing strongly in continuous improvement, Tony has earned the respect and business of some the best companies in the world. "Be the best you can be, and make every day count," says Tony.

Dave Herber
Vice President/Transportation
David (Dave) Herber is the Vice President of Transportation and oversees the day-to-day operations of all shipments, equipment, and other aspects of the division. Since joining the company in 1998, Dave has implemented a number of positive changes that has resulted in the overall improvement of employee & delivery safety, dispatching & tracking operations, and on-time deliveries. The LB team, under his direction, enjoys a 98.5% overall rating for on-time pickups and deliveries.
Before joining the LB Transportation Group, Dave had a distinguished career in the United States Navy. Dave is currently a retired Navy officer who served for over 26 years and included duties in Vietnam and the Gulf War. His last major assignment was as the Chief of Staff of a Submarine Squadron in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Dave is located at the LB Transportation Group Corporate Headquarters in Saginaw, Michigan. He and his wife, Joanie, are natives of neighboring Bay City, Michigan and have two children, David Jr. and Amy Lynn.
